Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Volunteers Stock Pantries & Deliver Meals
Every Tuesday, a group of dedicated student volunteers from Westview High School in Martin, TN, roll up their sleeves to help their neighbors in need. They stock shelves at The Pantry, a new community food assistance program SJCS has begun in Tennessee.
These aren't the only volunteers making a difference in the lives of neighbors in need. Eddie, James, Amanda, Koby, Cassidy, and Lin from our Tennessee residences delivered meals on wheels to community members needing a little help to get nutritious hot meals.
Volunteers bring energy, compassion, and hope into our community. Their time and effort help extend the reach of SJCS, ensuring more people are fed, supported, and cared for.
If you’re inspired to get involved, reach out to our Mandy at mhinson@sjcs.org for volunteer opportunities in Tennessee or Jeannine at jgoodrich@sjcs.org to explore opportunities in other locations. Together, we can make sure no neighbor is left behind.
