At SJCS, we are dedicated to a powerful mission of inclusion, dignity, and support for individuals who are often overlooked by society.

For young people facing the harsh realities of homelessness, the journey ahead can seem exhausting and scary. This is why our Oasis Program exists, not only to provide housing but also to reignite hope.

The Oasis Program provides permanent supportive housing to youth ages 18 to 24 who have experienced chronic homelessness through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. We meet these young individuals where they are and partner alongside them as they create brighter futures.

Permanent housing is more than just a roof over their heads; it establishes a strong foundation for growth and self-sufficiency. Our wraparound services connect residents with vital resources, including education, job training, life skills coaching, and mental health care. 

The people who join our Oasis Program often arrive with very little of their own belongings. It’s because of the generosity of community members like you that youth experiencing homelessness are welcomed into their own space that feels like home. 

The SJCS Oasis Program exemplifies the core principles of what it means to be “Housing First:” no conditions, no judgment — only steadfast support when it’s needed most.
