A Note of Gratitude from Alan

As we enter this season of reflection and giving, I want to take a moment to thank you. Your generosity is more than a donation—it’s hope, care, and dignity for the people you help us support

Let us tell you about a few people whose lives you’ve changed this year.

Montae, once facing homelessness, now has a home of his own near his grandmother. He spends Sunday evenings on the porch, surrounded by family and stability he can finally count on.

Pete, a resident of Serenity House, our sober living home, is rebuilding his life after years of struggle. He’s healing, reconnecting with family, and finding his footing again one step at a time.

Andrew worked hard to earn his license and buy his first car, opening new doors for independence. And Wendy has recently moved into a home with two of her best friends, achieving her dream of wanting to live in her own home.

These aren’t abstract outcomes. These are fellow community members whose lives are better because you chose to care. Your compassion reaches across every community we support, making an incredible difference.

Every moment of independence gained, every dream achieved, every life touched shows the power of your compassion. From all of us at SJCS, thank you for walking alongside us and believing in what’s possible when communities come together.
