Alan comes to SJCS with over 20 years of non-profit experience.
In his past role at the Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, Thornton provided leadership and strategic direction for a multi-regional non-profit where he oversaw 350 staff and a budget of $20 million with the mission of ending homelessness in New York. Thornton received a bachelor’s degree from Messiah College and a master of business administration degree from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
