Since 2000, SJCS-TN has provided adults with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities a comprehensive array of services so they may live, work, build relationships, and participate in all aspects of community life. SJCS-TN provides services in Memphis, Jackson, Martin, and their surrounding communities, in addition to Weakley, Obion, Henry, Lake, and Carroll Counties. SJCS-TN provides community-based residential, employment, and day services designed to build people’s independent living skills, and to support them to become respected, contributing members of their communities. All SJCS-TN services are CARF accredited.
SJCS provides the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families; to work for a highly recognized and well-run organization as evidenced by success since 1868; to earn competitive staff benefits, and to work in a collaborative team-focused approach to providing service.
As a community, we drive social change for all people nationwide, and continue to advocate for full inclusion of people with disabilities and other social and personal challenges into their local communities. We do this through assistance with access to housing, employment, education, healthcare and relationships. We open the doors to autonomy where each person becomes a strong thread in a woven fabric which supports and binds neighbors together.
