SJCS Stories

10 Years of Dedication

When the University of Tennessee, Martin opened for the spring semester, Sodexo Dining Services recognized one of their valued team members for reaching a special milestone within the company. Tony was presented with a certificate of appreciation for ten years of dedicated service from his supervisor, while receiving cheers and accolades from his fellow co-workers. For all his hard work throughout the years, he also received a service pen and a Bluetooth speaker/charging station.

Tony is part of SJCS Tennessee’s community-based employment services model. Working with an employment specialist, individuals in this model are provided on-the-job training and support, while their employers and co-workers are also given support and encouragement with new employees, creating a mutually beneficial partnership. Through these support services, individuals experience new opportunities and become valuable contributors in their jobs and communities.
