Each year, SJCS helps dozens of individuals travel for the holidays. Tara, in Tennessee loves her job and lives semi-independently. For the past ten years, SJCS staff has helped Tara pack for her trip, has taken her to the airport, and has made sure that she gets settled on the plane. Tara’s family is always excited to see her when she lands in Michigan! Tara loves the time with her family before returning to her Tennessee home to start the New Year. SJCS is happy to reunite families during the holidays, but we can't do it alone! Your continued support is critical to helping individuals like Tara live their best life! Doyle has been working at McCartney's Produce Company for three years. Before coming to SJCS, he worked at a sheltered workshop that did not make him feel like part of his community or encourage him to gain new skills. Doyle likes that his job with McCartney Produce puts him in contact with new people and makes him more independent!
