State Office Manager - Individual needed to provide office support to SJCS-VA operations. Specific responsibilities include recruitment, new employee orientation and training, preparing reports/correspondence, maintaining files, and ensuring state office bills are processed in a timely manner. Requires four years administrative/secretarial experience with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications; also needs to be detail-oriented and have excellent organization, personal relations and communication skills.
Support Specialist, Day - Individual to work in community-based day support program for people with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include accessing and participating in community resources. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have high school diploma, a current TN driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing. Two years of work experience and/or training in the areas of developmental disabilities & mental retardation preferred.
Support Specialists, Residential (9 positions available for various locations and hours) - Responsibilities include developing community support and assisting residents of the Virginia Community Living program in obtaining skills in independent living & community integration. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma, a current state-issued driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing. Two years of work experience and/or training in the areas of developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred. Team Leader, Residential (Position available at Guthrie) - Individual will assist the Coordinator in overseeing daily operations of a group home(s) as assigned & assist in developing community integrated activities for individuals. Requires Associate's Degree in psychology, rehabilitation, education, or related field; &/or a minimum of two years working in either a residential or employment setting with people with developmental disabilities. Requires state-issued driver’s license in good standing as well as current motor vehicle record in good standing.
