VA Program Coordinator, Residential- Individual to support the individual needs of the people with disabilities served in CLS-VA whether in directly operated group homes, supported living arrangements or through in-home support. Monitors and evaluates all aspects of assigned program operations to ensure quality of service for all involved participants; provides staff supervision, recruitment and support; ensures that residences are maintained safely and cleanly and in accordance with the applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a B.A. degree in a human services or related field (Masters preferred); two or more years experience of direct service with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting; one year supervisory experience preferred; valid local drivers license with good driving record.

VA Program Plan Developer - Individual responsible for facilitating the development of individual program plans that comply with applicable funding requirements as well as the philosophical beliefs of SJCS.  Create and implement appropriate monitoring systems necessary to ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulation.  Responsible for training, technical support in all areas of program plan implementation with SJCS staff.  The ideal candidate will have a  BA/BS in Special Ed, Human Services, or related field and minimum three (3) years experience in the field with at least one year providing direct service with individuals with disabilities; or MA degree with one-year direct service experience.   Experience with SIS and other local CSB planning processes a plus.

VA Support Specialists, Residential - (positions available for various locations, night/weekend hours) – Individuals will assist in developing community support for people with disabilities.  This position assures that individuals are fully integrated into the community.  Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have high school diploma/G.E.D. a current state-issued driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing and current health certificate.  Two (2) years of work experience and/or training in the areas of developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.

VA Support Specialist Day (OpCo) – Individual to work in community-based day support program for people with developmental disabilities.  Responsibilities include accessing and participating in community resources. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have high school diploma, a current TN driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing. Two (2) years of work experience and/or training in the areas of developmental & mental retardation preferred.

VA Team Leader Residential (Fairfax) - Individual will assist the Coordinator in overseeing daily operations of a group home(s) as assigned & assist in developing community integrated activities for individuals.  Requires A.A. degree in psychology, rehabilitation, education, or related field; &/or a minimum of two years working in either a residential or employment setting with people w/ developmental disabilities.  Requires state-issued driver’s license in good standing as well as current motor vehicle record in good standing.
