St. John’s Community Services wishes to acknowledge the outstanding support of our Community Partners. It is through their financial support, along with our other partners, that SJCS can continue to support and advocate for people with disabilities and their families. We are honored to recognize our Fiscal Year 2010 Community Partners with gratitude for their generous grants.

 

$90,000 and above

The Founders Board of St. John’s Community Services, Washington, DC

To provide inclusive and integrated educational and clinical services to 28 students with autism and other developmental disabilities currently enrolled in SJCS-DC’s Education Services located in the DC Public Schools.   

$50,000 and above

The Alexander and Margaret Stewart Trust, Washington, DC

To support SJCS-DC’s Clinical Services program. Clinical Services provides therapy, health and social work to support children and youth with disabilities and their families enrolled in SJCS-DC’s Education Services.

 

$25,000 and above

United Way of the National Capital Area, Washington, DC

To provide general operating funds for SJCS-DC Community Living services, targeted to enhance residential services for adults living with disabilities in DC. 

 

William S. Abell Foundation, Chevy Chase, Maryland

To provide general operating funds for SJCS-DC Community Living services, targeted to enhance residential services for adults living with disabilities in DC. 

$10,000 and above

The John Dickson Home Fund, Washington, DC

To provide SJCS-DC’s general operating fund, targeted to enhance Community Living Services (residential) to adults with disabilities living in apartments in DC.

 

The Medtronic Foundation, Memphis, TN

To support SJCS-TN Nursing Services for adults living with disabilities in Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee.

 

Wells Fargo/Wachovia Foundation, Washington, DC

To provide general operating funds for SJCS-DC Community Living services, targeted to enhance residential services for adults living with disabilities in DC. 

 

$5,000 and above

The Civitan Club of Tyson's Virginia, Arlington, Virginia

To support the renovation of a bathroom in a group home supported by SJCS-VA.   

$1,000 and above

The Rotary Club of Memphis East Foundation, Cordova, TN

To support the transition from a paper-based data management system in SJCS-TN to a completely web-based system, designed to increase efficiency, accuracy and confidentiality of the information of adults with disabilities in Memphis and Jackson, TN.

  

Enterprise Holdings Foundation, St. Louis, MO

To provide general operating funds for SJCS-DC's Community Living Services, targeted to enhance residential services for adults living with disabilities in DC.

The Washington Forrest Foundation, Alexandria, VA To enable SJCS-VA’s Community Living Services to install a chair lift I a group home to assist an individual who needs assistance climbing the stairs to his bedroom.
