Support Specialist, Day - Individual to work in community-based day support programs. Responsibilities include accessing community resources for persons with developmental disabilities. Preference given to those with degree in related field, (i.e., Education, Psychology, Special Ed, Human Development, Rehabilitation) or high school diploma or GED and two years of work experience in training clients in residential settings. Must have state-issued driver's license in good standing and current motor vehicle record in good standing. Position available in Loudoun County.
Support Specialists, Residential (4 positions available for various locations and hours) - Responsibilities include developing community support and assisting residents of the Virginia community living program in obtaining skills in independent living and community integration. High school diploma or GED required; preference given to those with work experience in residential settings. Must have state-issued driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing. Positions are available at Guthrie; Redwing; Plaza 3; and Conventry.
Team Leader, Residential - Individual will assist the Coordinator in overseeing daily operations of a group home(s) as assigned & assist in developing community integrated activities for individuals. Requires A.A. degree in psychology, rehabilitation, education, or related field; &/or a minimum of one year working in either a residential or employment setting with people with developmental disabilities. Requires state-issued driver’s license in good standing as well as current motor vehicle record in good standing. Position available at West Blvd.
