Adaptive Physical Education Teacher – works with individuals with autism, mental retardation, and emotional problems via individual, small group, and classroom instruction.  Emphasis is placed on social games and recreation, gross-motor and eye-limb coordination, motor planning, and relaxation and tension release. Must be a certified Physical Education Instructor with a Bachelor's Degree and training in Adapted Physical Education, with experience with individuals with autism and mentally retardation. Valid state-issued driver’s license required. 

Program Coordinator (Adolescent Residential) - – Individual will implement and ensure the administrative and programmatic duties for adolescent residential program.  Supervise Support Specialists and establish staffing patterns and schedules.  Assist in developing community supports and conduct circle of support meetings for the residents. Develop programs for residents as well as provide training to staff in the implementation of programs.  Minimum two years direct service experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities and one year of management experience that includes supervisory experience.  One year of programming experience with knowledge of behavioral programming preferred.   Related degree preferred.  Must have valid state-issued driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing and other DC required certifications/trainings.

Program Director (Adolescent Residential) - Individual to direct and support the development and implementation of the adolescent residential program in accordance with the CFSA regulations. Requires Master's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university, and a minimum of three years of experience working with children and youths with severe disabilities and one year of administrative experience. One year of programming experience with knowledge of behavioral programming preferred.

Support Specialists, Residential (4 positions available for various hours and locations) – Individual will assist in developing community support for persons with disabilities.  This position assures that the consumers are fully integrated into the community.  Requires high school diploma.  Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have valid state-issued driver’s license and current motor vehicle record in good standing.  Two years of work experience and/or training in the areas of developmental & mental retardation preferred.  Opportunities are available at: Bayne ; Supportive Living; Sherrier; and Reservoir.

Team Leader, Residential - Individual will assist the Coordinator in overseeing daily operations of a group home(s) as assigned and assist in developing community integrated activities for individuals.  Requires A.A. degree in psychology, rehabilitation, education, or related field; &/or a minimum of one year working in either a residential or employment setting with people with developmental disabilities.  Requires state-issued driver’s license in good standing as well as current motor vehicle record in good standing.
