Other Ways to Give
You can choose from a number of ways to support
St. John's Community Services important work,
including:
Designate your gift in memory or in honor
of someone. Whether you want to celebrate
a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary
or remember a loved one, your gift will go a long
way towards supporting people with disabilities.
Please include the necessary information (name
and address) on the online form or if you are
making your donation by mail or phone, simply
inform us of your wishes. We will notify the honoree
or family member of the deceased on your behalf.
Designate your gift to the Tom & Genni
Fund. A fund developed by Thomas Wilds,
President and CEO and Genni Sasnett, Chief Operating
Officer, to provide educational scholarships for
SJCS staff. Tom and Genni developed this fund
out of their deep appreciation for the dedicated
SJCS staff and in hopes that it will contribute
to the development of future leaders and advocates
in the disability field. Please indicate your
wishes to designate to this special fund within
the online form or if you making your donation
by mail or phone, simply inform us of your wishes.
Gifts of Stock to WWF. A gift

John's Community Services crucial services and
offer you financial benefits as well. Learn more
about Gifts of Stock>
Workplace Giving Campaigns. St. John’s Community

In-kind Donations. In-kind donations
help St. John’s Community Services fill
in the gaps when public funding is scarce or non-existent.
For example, we are in need of furnishings in
very good condition for homes we have recently
opened or are preparing to open in the District
of Columbia, Virginia, and New Jersey. We can
also use donations of games and toys, videos and
the like for our Saturday Recreational and Respite Program
in New Jersey. Gifts of tickets to sporting events,
movies and other entertainment are also very welcome
for the adults and children we serve. Computers
(pc only) for our school-age students and adults
in our residences would be wonderful. To find
out more information about making an in-kind donation,
call the St. John’s Community Services State
office nearest you (visit our Locations page) or
our development department.
For more information on any of these giving
options, please feel free to contact George Liacopoulos at (202) 274-3402 or gliacopoulos@sjcs.org.
