Employee Benefits Summary

Staff Leave

Our full-time (35+ scheduled weekly hours) and part-time (20-34 scheduled weekly hours) employees earn and accrue vacation and sick leave for personal use, to refresh and take care of themselves and others.

 

Our staff also enjoys ten paid holidays per year. 

 

Healthcare Benefits

Medical:  Full-time and part-time employees have the option of an HMO (health maintenance organization) medical plan or POS (point of service) medical plan for themselves, spouses, and dependent children up to 26 years of age.    

 

Vision:  Full-time and part-time employees have the option of vision benefits for themselves, spouses, and dependent children up to 26 years of age. 

 

Dental:  Full-time and part-time employees have the option of dental benefits for themselves, spouses, and dependent children up to 26 years of age. 

 

Supplemental Insurance: Options available for full-time and part-time employees include short-term disability insurance, accident, cancer and critical illness plans.  Employees can also purchase additional life insurance coverage for themselves, their spouses and/or dependents.

 

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Our employees have the option to participate in a tax-free FSA plan for medical, vision, dental, childcare, elder care and other expenses accordingly. 

 

Retirement Benefits

Our employees are encouraged to plan for his/her retirement.  As a result, we offer plans for payroll contributions with a pre-tax benefit, with an organizational match after two years with SJCS.
